Hardware: Original hardware includes nickel trapeze tailpiece with raised diamond crossbar, 5-ply beveled pickguard, Brazilian rosewood compensated adjustable bridge. Kluson Deluxe nickel-plated tuners. Additional recent Kluson deluxe tuners installed.

Notes: Introduced in 1932, the Gibson L-50 model was Gibson's most popular acoustic archtop guitar for almost four decades, remaining in regular production as late as 1971. It has the same scale length and body size as the 16" L-5, L-4 and the ES-175 models. Easy to hold and fun to play, the L-50 scale allows for faster soloing, and more smoother chording of stretch voicings.

The guitar is in sparkling condition, with all original Cremona sunburst finish, without pick, buckle, thumb, fret or fingerboard wear. At a scant 4lb. 2oz. the guitar is phenomenally light in weight, and notably comfy in the lap or on the strap. The voice is clear, crisp and brilliant, with volume and projection exceeding instruments of far greater size.

Smooth low action with superb pro fretwork over a gentle C profile neck with a fresh high precision setup. Unquestionably the best buy in an all-solid, all-carved genuine vintage Gibson archtop. One only: call now.

Setup: Trussrod tension and neck relief adjusted; bridge height adjusted; bridge compensation set; string slots at nut and bridge inspected and recut as necessary; bridge foot contour inspected and fit to top as necessary; bridge radius inspected and recurved as necessary; bridge wheels and tuners lubricated; fingerboard and bridge oiled; body and neck cleaned and hand polished. The guitar is strung with medium gauge nickel roundwound strings, and may be strung with higher or lower tension strings as desired.

Case: Recent deluxe arched black plush lined hardshell case.
