Notes: Handbuilt in Kalamazoo by former Gibson artisans in the original Gibson plant, the Heritage H-575 features a 16" Florentine cutaway body, parallel bracing, and fast 24 3/4" scale. Unlike its Gibson counterpart, the ES-175, the H-575 is crafted entirely of solid, carved highly figured maple tonewood, rather than the laminate material found on most production electric archtops.

A true gigmaster, the H-575, combines versatile twin pickup operation with an elegant, gentle D profile neck: a delight to play. This handsome example shows fine tiger flame figure throughout, with true pearl block inlays in the solid rosewood fingerboard. The guitar has been maintained in great condition, with all-original hardware and finish, without pick, thumb, or fingerboard wear. Apart from a few scattered buckle dents and lacquer nicks, the guitar shows few signs of play. The solid maple pickguard has a single soundly resealed crack, and the black tailpiece insert has been replaced. Action is smooth and low over fine high original medium jumbo frets, and the twin humbucking pickups offer versatile tone color with excellent sustain and feedback resistance.

A classic instrument in a distinguished lineage of hard working guitars, and a perennial best buy for the gigging player. One only: call now.

Setup: This instrument is strung with medium gauge nickel roundwound strings (.012-.054). The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 5/64" to 6/64" at the 12th fret, with moderate relief for acoustic playing with medium strings. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.

Case: Original Heritage deluxe arched plush lined hardshell case.
