An elegant super jumbo jazz box, this big guitar is carved of deeply figured tiger flame maple, and has the warm, buttery voice of a finely carved graduated soundboard. This handsome guitar is in 100% original condition, with smooth, low action over a gentle D profile neck with sold ebony fingerboard, and fine medium jumbo fretwork. The sunburst finish is masterfully shaded, showing the grain of the tonewood all the way to the rims. The guitar shows no cracks or repairs, only some scattered nicks and dents typical of a well-played working instrument. Tone is warm and buttery, as befits an instrument of its magesterial size and pedigree.
