Nut Width: 1 3/4" Scale Length: 25" Body size: 17" Body depth: 3"

Finish: Vintage amber blonde finish, nitrocellulose type

Materials: Solid bookmatched handcarved spruce top; solid fiddleback flame maple body; tiger flame maple neck; solid ebony fingerboard; multi-ply binding; polished bone nut

Hardware: All original hardware includes contoured ebony tailpiece, compensated adjustable ebony bridge. Gold Grover tuners with ebony keys, floating Bartolini humbucking pickup with volume and tone controls, endpin jack.

Notes: Handcrafted of spectacularly extravagant fiddleback and tiger flame maple, the McKerrihan Anastasia is a tribute to the legendary D'Aquisto Solo, one of the most innovative archtop designs of the contemporary era. At just 5lb. 9oz, the instrument is exceptionally lightweight, especially for a full depth 17" instrument.

The neck is equally well crafted, with a slim, flat profile that is notably easy to play, even for hands of moderate size. Body and neck are hand carved of AAA bookmatched flame maple, and the floating Bartolini humbucking pickup provides warm, accurate amplification of the warm, woody acoustic voice. Designer touches include all handmade ebony hardware and the sort of meticulous fit and finish found only on the finest luthier built instruments. Action is smooth and low over a gentle D profile tiger flame neck with solid ebony fingerboard.

This rare example is in superb condition, 100% original, without cracks, pick, buckle, thumb or fingerboard wear, and has been meticulously cared for. Just in case you don't happen to have the $100K handy for an original DA, the McKerrihan Anastasia offers a pathbreaking design at a working player's price.

Case: Original deluxe arched black plushlined hardshell case.
