Notes: Oregon luthier Paul Lestock has made a reputation for building top quality handmade instruments at prices real musicians can really afford. His artist roster includes the likes of Mike Marshall, Radim Zenkl, John Carlini and others, and his guitars and mandolins are renowned for their lively responsive acoustic tone. Selmer/Maccaferri gypsy jazz guitars have been a particular passion for Paul, and his Arrow Gypsy is an instrument that would be welcome around any caravan.
Weighing in at a featherweight 3 lb. 14 oz. (1.32kg), the Gypsy is built in the style of the classic Selmer Petite Bouche, as played by Django himself, updated with a 14 fret neck. The long scale and resonant solid mahogany body combine to produce a formidable punch, either acoustically or through the built-in Bigtone pickup. This example is in excellent condition, with only very incidental normal playwear. With genuine made-in-USA custom luthier quality at the price of a factory knock-off, this Arrow truly hits a bullseye.
Setup: This instrument is strung with light gauge silvered steel strings, and will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference.
Case: Original deluxe hardshell case.
