Materials: Arched flame maple body, solid maple neck with walnut stripe; solid rosewood fingerboard with block inlay; 3-ply body binding, bound fingerboard, bone nut.

Hardware: All gold hardware includes original gold HB-1 humbucking bridge pickup and upgrade Benedetto A-6 humbucking neck pickup; 'G' logo harp tailpiece; adjustable Grover Rotomatic tuners; contoured Guild-logo pickguard, black G-logo reflector cap tone and volume knobs; compensated rosewood bridge; 3 way pickup selector switch.

Notes: A rare, upscale version of Guild's popular X-150, the Guild X-180 Park Avenue was introduced circa 2000, as a more compact alternative to the firm's venerable X-500. The 16" body is comfy to hold, and the 24 3/4" scale is fast and nimble, making the X-180 a serious competitor to the now-discontinued Gibson ES-175. This gleaming guitar is a very scarce example of the model, USA built in tiny numbers until Guild's workshop in Corona, CA was closed.

Crafted of lustrous flamed curly maple, the full-depth laminate body is crack-resistant, and offers improved sustain and feedback resistance. The original golden sunburst finish highlights the figured body handsomely, and the guitar is fitted with its all original gold hardware, with the addition of an upgrade Benedetto A-6 humbucking pickup in the neck position.

Maintained in brilliant condition, the instrument is free of cracks, pick, buckle, thumb, fret or fingerboard wear. A classic working jazz box, the guitar has a sleek gentle D neck profile, with smooth low action over a fresh high-precision setup.

A true best buy in a genuine US made archtop, the Park Avenue X-180 is an outstanding performer for the working guitarist. One only: call now.

Setup: Trussrod tension and neck relief adjusted; bridge height adjusted; bridge compensation strobe tuned; string slots at nut and bridge inspected and recut as necessary; bridge wheels and tuners lubricated; fingerboard and bridge oiled; body and neck cleaned and hand polished.

This instrument is strung with medium gauge nickel roundwound strings. The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 4/64" to 5/64" at the 12th fret, with moderate relief for acoustic playing with medium strings. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.

Case: Original deluxe Guild black arched plush lined hardshell case.
