Finish: Vintage sunburst finish, nitrocellulose lacquer type.
Materials: Solid bookmatched graduated Sitka spruce top; solid handcarved bookmatched flame maple back and sides; tiger flame maple neck with walnut centerstripes; solid ebony fingerboard; bound body, neck and f-holes; polished bone nut.
Hardware: Original gold hardware includes built-in adjustable Seymour Duncan Seth Lover humbucking pickups, adjustable finger tailpiece, Grover Super Rotomatic tuners; compensated adjustable ebony bridge, bound ebony pickguard, black barrel volume and tone knobs, adjustable truss rod.
Notes: Handbuilt in Kalamazoo by former Gibson artisans in the old Gibson plant, the Heritage Eagle Classic is an all carved, full depth, professional grade electric archtop designed for the working player. Like the legendary L-5CES, the Eagle Classic shares the same scale and materials, including the solid carved spruce soundboard, parallel bracing, solid carved maple back, sides and neck, solid ebony fingerboard, and built-in gold humbuckers.

Setup: This instrument is strung with medium gauge nickel flatwound strings. The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 4/64" to 5/64" at the 12th fret, with moderate relief. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.
