Materials: Solid maple top; solid Honduras mahogany neck and body; solid rosewood fingerboard.

Notes: Introduced in mid-1952, the Gibson Les Paul Model has remained the worlds' most iconic electric guitar to this day. The stop tailpiece and Tuneomatic bridge were introduced in 1955, the gold barrel knobs were standard through 1960, and PAF humbucking pickups graced the model beginning in mid-1957. The following year, Gibson rechristened it as the Les Paul Standard. Originally built only between 1958 and 1960, the Les Paul Standard has become the most sought after Gibson electric, with one example sold at auction in 2014 for a reported two million dollars.
This handsome guitar combines the peerless performance of the Les Paul Standard with the striking ebony finish of the Les Paul Custom, aka the 'Black Beauty'. Built with the full '59 style C neck profile of the original Standards, the guitar is fitted a premium rosewood fingerboard, cream pickguard, Tune-o-matic bridge, and Gibson Deluxe tulip key tuners.
The Burstbucker 1 pickups measure 8.04K at the neck and 7.58K at the bridge, with slightly unmatched coil winding to recreate the creaminess and bite of the original '50s PAFs. Action is smooth and low action over a fresh high-precision setup. The gleaming ebony finish is all original and polished to a high luster, and the instrument shows no cracks or repairs. Apart from a few incidental lacquer nicks, the instrument appears much as it left the Gibson factory some years ago. The original Gibson logo hardshell case is included, along with original paperwork and truss rod wrench.
A stunning combination of features, in one gleaming instrument. One only, call now.
Setup: Trussrod tension and neck relief adjusted; bridge height adjusted; bridge compensation set; bridge wheels and tuners lubricated; fingerboard and bridge oiled; body and neck cleaned and hand polished.
