Materials: Arched tiger flame laminate maple body; solid maple neck; solid ebony fingerboard; multi-bound body and neck.

Hardware: All original gold hardware includes Grover Imperial tuners: adjustable finger tailpiece; compensated Tuneomatic style bridge; Seth Lover humbucking pickup; bound flame maple pickguard; gold speed knobs.

Notes: Handbuilt in Kalamazoo by former Gibson artisans in the old factory plant, the full size Heritage H-550 draws inspiration from the Gibson Tal Farlow model, and its predecessor, the legendary Gibson ES-350. The Heritage H-550 features a highly flamed full depth 17" Venetian cutaway body, parallel bracing, and full 25 1/2" scale for greater snap on the note. The pickup and bridge are backed with a solid maple reinforcement strip under the soundboard, for improved sustain and feedback resistance.

This example is custom made with a single Seth Lover humbucking pickup, and gold hardware including Grover Imperial tuners, adjustable finger tailpiece, and a compensated Tuneomatic style bridge. This example is crafted with tiger flame maple of exceptional intensity, and features a solid ebony fingerboard with fine medium jumbo frets, and a gentle D profile neck that plays effortlessly. The voice is smooth and rich, with a classic full mid-60's jazz tone.

A strikingly handsome instrument in as-new condition, and unquestionably one of the best values on in a true US made pro quality jazz box.

Setup: This instrument is strung with medium gauge nickel roundwound strings (.013-.056). The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 5/64" to 6/64" at the 12th fret, with moderate relief for acoustic playing with medium strings. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.
