The Cabaret is a hybrid design, specifically designed for the playing styles of the fingerstyle and bossa jazz player. With its arched, hand-carved back, the Cabaret marries archtop construction to traditional Hauser guitar design, with enhanced bass response and projection. The gentle Venetian cutaway allows superior access to upper fretboard, and tt just 4lb 2oz, the guitar is notably light in weight, and well balanced on the lap as well.
Premium upgrades to the basic model include the spectacular Malaysian blackwood body, with matching fingerboard, bridge and headplate; hand graduated Carpathian spruce soundboard with dramatic bearclaw figure; custom oval soundhole with snakewood and pearl rosette; and the highly polished stainless steel fretwork. The floral design sound port in the upper bass side, and brilliant curly maple binding, all complete the impeccably tasteful design of the instrument.
This handsome instrument has remained in showroom condition, without playwear, and all original hardware and finish. Action is smooth and low over a fresh high precision setup, over a gentle D profile neck.
With its vibrant voice, elegant action, and spectacular looks, this striking guitar offers unrivaled versatility for the progressive fingerstyle player. One only: call now.
Case: Original deluxe Hiscox arched plush lined hardshell case.
