Notes: Taylor acoustic guitars are renowned for their reliability, consistency and technical sophistication, which have made them the standard for working performers for decades. The 816 series has Taylor's unique Grand Symphony body size, slightly wider than previous models, and fitted with an innovative partial Florentine cutaway, which in addition to its additional soundport, leaves the back fully intact, while retaining access to the upperrmost fretboard.
Taylor's proprietary 'V Class' bracing system optimizes soundboard flexibility and rigidity to enhance clarity, balance, and responsiveness, with bracing specifically engineered to maximize acoustic performance. Finally, the Expression System 2 positions its peizo sensors slightly behind the bridge, for maximum fidelity and signal strength.

Case: Original deluxe Taylor plush lined hardshell case
Setup: Trussrod tension and neck relief adjusted as required; bridge saddle adjusted as required; string slots at nut and bridge inspected and recut as necessary; body and neck cleaned and hand polished, electronics tested and balanced. This instrument is strung with medium gauge phosphor bronze strings. The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier strings, according to preference.
