Notes: Handbuilt in Kalamazoo by former Gibson artisans in the old Gibson plant, the Heritage H-575 features a 16" Florentine cutaway body, parallel bracing, and fast 24 3/4" scale. This striking example was custom built with a rare transparent black finish, and matched Seymour Duncan Seth Lover humbucking pickups.
This handsome instrument is built with an extravagantly flamed tiger maple body, and a slightly slimmed 2 7/8" depth, notably comfortable on the lap or the strap. With smooth low action over fine medium fretwork, the guitar has a fresh high precision setup, over a gentle D profile neck that plays effortlessly.
The compact 16" body is easy to hold, and a joy to play. Only a few months out of the factory, the instrument has all original hardware and finish, and includes its original Heritage logo case, paperwork, and case candy.
A rare bird, and a true best buy in a US built, hardworking jazz box. One only: call now.
Setup: This instrument is strung with medium gauge nickel flatwound strings. The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 4/64" to 5/64" at the 12th fret, with moderate relief for acoustic playing with medium strings. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.
