Notes: Introduced in 1932, the Epiphone Broadway was one of the company's most popular models, remaining in the catalog until the firm was sold in 1957. With the same body, materials and metal parts as the Deluxe, at about half the price, the Broadway has always represented exceptional value for the player as well. With block pearl fingerboard inlays, and the graceful vine peghead, this model sports one of our favorite inlay designs ever.

Carefully maintianed by a single owner since the early 50's, this handsome guitar shows solid carved highly figured maple in a bookmatched chevron on the back, with wide rollers of tiger flame in the sides, and a solid carved Adirondack spruce soundboard. Well maintained, the guitar is without cracks, and shows only very light playwear: the original tobacco sunburst finish is in gleaming condition, and the multi-ply binding is all tight to the body.

The guitar is fitted with all original gold hardware, including Epsilon logo 16X1 tuners, and "Patent Pending" Frequensator tailpiece in excellent condition. The acoustic voice is exceptionally powerful and vibrant, and the Brazilian rosewood fingerboard offers smooth, low action over a very contemporary gentle C neck profile neck.

A true horn killer, and handsome as can be, this Broadway is a uniquely versatile performer, and a perennial player's favorite. One only: call now.

Setup: The frets have been precision leveled, recrowned and polished; trussrod tension and neck relief adjusted; bridge height adjusted; bridge compensation set; string slots at nut and bridge inspected and recut as necessary; bridge foot contour inspected and fit to top as necessary; bridge radius inspected and recurved as necessary; bridge wheels and tuners lubricated; fingerboard and bridge oiled; body and neck cleaned and hand polished.

This instrument is strung with medium gauge bronze strings (.013-.056). The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 5/64" to 6/64" at the 12th fret, with moderate relief for acoustic playing with medium strings. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.

Case: Original deluxe brown arched Epiphone-logo plush lined hardshell case.
