Finish: Amber blonde finish, nitrocellulose type

Body size at lower bout: 16". Scale length: 24 3/4" Nut Width: 1 11/16"

Materials: Solid highly figured tiger maple top, sides and back; solid mahogany neck; solid ebony fingerboard; bound body and neck.

Hardware: 100% original gold hardware, including Grover Rotomatic tuners; trapeze tailpiece; compensated rosewood bridge; PAF style humbucking pickups; bound maple pickguard; black barrel volume and tone knobs; 3 way selector switch; adjustable truss rod.

Notes: Handbuilt in Kalamazoo by former Gibson artisans in the old Gibson plant, the Heritage H-575 Custom features a 16" Florentine cutaway body, parallel bracing, and fast 24 3/4" scale. Though similar in dimensions to the Gibson ES-175, the H-575 is built of all solid woods, unlike its laminate counterparts. This example was custom ordered with distinctive diagonal custom inlays in the solid ebony fingerboard and peghead.

The guitar is in superb condition, with all original gold hardware and finish, without cracks, pick, buckle, thumb or fingerbpard wear. Smooth low action over fine medium jumbo frets, and a gentle D profile neck that plays efforlessly. The solid tiger maple soundboard offers excellent sustain and feedback resistance, and the 16" body is a easy to hold, on the lap or the strap. The twin humbuckers offer great versatility in tone, from blues to bop and back again. A great instrument in a distinguished lineage of hard working gig guitars.

Setup: This instrument is strung with medium gauge nickel roundwound strings (.013-.056). The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 5/64" to 6/64" at the 12th fret, with moderate relief for acoustic playing with medium strings. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.
