Materials: Highly flamed arched maple top, back and sides; three piece solid mahogany neck; rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlay; 3-ply body binding, bound fingerboard; bone nut.

Notes: The Guild X-150 Savoy was introduced in 1954 as a direct competitor to the Gibson ES-175. Almost half a century later, the comfortable neck, smooth tone and handsome full depth Venetian cutaway body make the Savoy an attractive choice for the serious player looking for exceptional value.
This guitar is one of the last products of the Guild's famed Westerly, RI plant, just before the venerable firm was acquired by Fender and moved to California. This hard-to-find single pickup version is in exceptionally fine condition, with an eye-catching tiger flame maple body.
The amber blonde finish is all original, and shows no pick, buckle, thumb or fingerboard wear. Apart from a few scattered nicks and some wisps of spider checking the guitar shows little signs of play. The humbucking pickup is an unpotted Duncan Seth Lover PAF, built with true vintage style Alnico 2 magnets. A true classic, and a genuine American made professional quality instrument, at a price below most import copies. One only: call now.
Setup: This instrument is strung with medium gauge nickel strings (.013-.056). The guitar will accommodate lighter or heavier gauge strings, according to preference. String action is set at 5/64" to 6/64" at the 12th fret, with moderate relief for acoustic playing with medium strings. The action may be lowered or raised to your requirements with the adjustable bridge.
Case: Original Guild arched black plush hardshell case.
